Founder, Jeff Pittman here, thanks for stopping by to learn a little more about Sherpa.
As I began my career with an Atlassian Solution Partner, I found a growing need for very well-rounded Atlassian Product leadership that helps organizations adopt the software and transform in a nimble and significantly simplified way than traditional pay-by-the-hour administration or support.

In three words: "Atlassian Product Management"...not Atlassian Administration. An administrator will often only do what's asked or fix what's broken...while a Product Manager is at the helm of the roadmap, features, benefits, deprecation of unused features, gathering feedback, and constantly delivering value as you scale.
To accomplish most implementations, generally a typical SP will assign many layers of individual roles in a fairly complex SOW, then focus on their specific role's incentives...then make hand offs. Sales > Project Management > Development > Testing > Training, etc...and rarely are those incentives completely aligned with your organization's nuances. Quality, and Speed, are negatively affected by this model.
Those prototypical engagements can be wrought with: complex team structures, multiple context shifts, delayed knowledge transfers, billing spikes, diffuse expertise...but more importantly, execution and quality suffer...often at the expense of the software's reputation.
I saw this as an opportunity to improve the "how" these services are organized, and set forth a proven, new standard of how Atlassian consulting services are delivered.
Through 1 super-skilled, highly experienced individual aligned to a client's needs & goals. Like the Sherpas of the Himalayas.
